The ideal candidate has an interest in helping grow a new and exciting bridal and formalwear e-commerce company. The studio intern will assist the EWedded team in daily activities surrounding the merchandise operations and studio space, including but not limited to:

What You'll Be Doing

• Assist in receiving, inspecting and organizing incoming consignment pieces
• Catalog and prepare new merchandise for copywriting, styling and photography
• Assist in all photo shoot activities including styling sessions, model market research and set design
• Assist the team on in-studio photo shoots
• Assist the team in consignor relations communication
• Assist the team with inventory management and customer fulfillment tasks

Who you are
The ideal candidate is passionate about weddings, fashion, design, art and lifestyle. They are excited about joining a newly launched e-commerce platform and contributing to the growth of the EWedded brand. They should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment. Additional skills include a working knowledge of the wedding industry and basic computer skills (word, excel, email, etc). This internship is 2-3 days a week, and you must be able to receive school credit. This position is based in our Chesapeake, VA studio and will follow CDC guidelines in line with in-person office work.

Our studio is based in Chesapeake, VA and requires the ideal candidate to be in the studio approximately two days a week. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated to learn more about e-commerce and product photography. You will get the chance to work on the production coordination, retouching, marketing, and assisting on editorial photoshoots. You will help support our visual efforts while gaining valuable career experience in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assist in planning, creating mood boards and executing photo shoots, as well as editing and retouching photographs for the online marketplace, creation of editorial/web content, and social media
• Assist with setting up and breaking down of photo equipment
  Maintain photography guidelines, and photograph images that are consistent with the EWedded aesthetic
• Research photography, current events, pop culture, and social media trends
• Photo coverage and editing of in-house events for promotional use and archival purposes

Who you are

• Must be based in an approximation to Chesapeake, VA that will allow for two days in studio
• 1 year of studio photography experience (preferred)
• Knowledge of Adobe software such as Photoshop, Lightroom, and Capture one (preferred)
• Knowledge of studio equipment (preferred)
  Self-starter, organized, with excellent attention to detail and ability to self-direct, and work within a fast paced environment
  A collaborative, positive, proactive, and transparent attitude
  Passion for fashion and editorial photography
  Currently enrolled in a college and must be able to receive academic credit
